Not sure I agree about Destiny. After Destiny 1 I kind of stopped trusting Bungie and tried to play Destiny 2 and it seemed just as bad. I even cancelled D2 pre-order because had bad feeling about the game then history repeated itself so gave up on the IP. While with Infinite all it’s done is made me want to go back to MCC. I just don’t see much point in playing Destiny or Infinite at the moment when both seem very overly predatory. I was hoping 343i would be more respectful with Infinite but after Infinite and Halo 5 it’s made it very hard to trust anything 343i says.
At the moment I want to be able to enjoy something Halo related but now feel stuck since Infinite is a mess and MCC struggles with population issues…which makes me wonder if I’ll be able to play a good Halo game online in 10 years. A part of me wonders if I’ll be even playing Halo online anymore at some point.
