With the Halo Infinite gameplay footage receiving a mixed reactions from Halo fans, what will 343 Industries do with the new Halo video game? Could they follow in a similar direction like how Paramount Pictures and Sega did with the Sonic the Hedgehog movie where they will listen to the feedback from Sonic fans including fixing the look of Sonic the Hedgehog? Do you see 343 Industries going in that direction where they will listen to the feedback from Halo fans including delaying Halo Infinite in order to fix the graphics in the game?

i hope they fix the graphics. the artstyle and background idea is there, but the execution is lacking.
i also hope that sprint is just an animation for top speed, that clamber has very little reach and that the “slide” is just thrusters.
Judging from the lack of things like grit and blood splatter on the ground. Plus toy like looking enemies they are certainly catering towards the very young Teen demographic.
The broken up ring and pristine looking lego world reminds me of Minecraft tone.
Definitely got low expectations now.

The very “cartoonish” graphics concern me. It is not the art style rather the texture work, lighting, and around the consequences of battle. It is not that Halo ever had insane gore or blood rather had enough to make scenes and factions work. I do not know how you make the Flood work if 343 is aiming for a Teen rating.

With a Teen rating it is extremely low chance the flood will return, nor will we get blood splatter like in Halo CE or Halo 2.
My hype has official died.
I don’t think they care that much boss.

Yep, unfortunately Halo is probably dead. So sad. We will know for sure when we play MP. They are fortunate this is going on Game Pass
I don’t think a delay is realistic, simply because Microsoft are the ones ultimately calling the shots so it will come down to them deciding to release it or delay.
That said, I think it is highly probable that 343 has heard the feedback and is dedicating extra time/effort to enhancing the visuals. That’s probably the best we can hope for.
I honestly imagined master chief with whirlwind legs running across the ring-world dodging the banished when I saw this
I don’t know but I hope Master Chief flosses
I would say that I hope 343 listens to the community. But not to the point where it changes everything. I like to be surprised with new things.

They better do something. What they showed graphically was laughable. You cannot possibly show something like that off and think it looks fine.

not even true. The ratings have changed. In halo five, an assassination literally involves stabbing someone halfway into their eye, and sending it further into the brain by kneeing the knife.
Nor would I want them to kill themselves in work in these 5 months causing a severe crunch in the studio. Let them do what they can, and if not, delay the launch.
