So I’ll start by saying I’m no halo god-type player, but I do pride myself on being atleast decent. Now I have been loving this game but for some reason my aim seems to be so off even ridiculously off at times. I just don’t understand it at all I’ve tried messing around with the sensitivity but still the same issue. Anyone else out there have the same situation? Or have my many years of playing halo really mean nothing and my aim out of nowhere is just godawful?
So I just did a little light research and from what I can tell and from looking in the settings there’s no aim assist which I guess makes sense to my issue. What doesn’t make sense to me is there’s no aim assist for controller but mouse magnetism for keyboard and mouse? What in the actual fook? How does that make any sense? Please don’t tell me this isn’t some sort of permanent thing? And it’s just flight related stuff? Unless I’m completely wrong about everything I just said in that case any explanations?

It can be tweaked, the aim assist on controller has been drastically decreased compared to MCC so you maybe find yourself a little off (I did too). Also the sensibilities between Infinite and the MCC are not equivalent. Sen 3 on Infinite is not the same as Sen 3 on MCC.

I just don’t see how they’d think that’d be a good idea? I’ve been playing halo forever since CE like alot of you out there and I don’t ever recall having this issue to this degree that I’m having in the flights. I just don’t get how they’ve made such a big deal about player preference in gameplay and customibility but they do this? And I know they have a bunch of Sensitivity settings in there and I’ll keep trying to tweak with them but imo so far atleast that doesn’t replace aim assist at all.
I’ve read in another thread that removing the deadzones and tweaking the aim (look?) acceleration will greatly improve the aiming.
