Okay. So, I just had one of my favorite Halo experiences in my life. I’d like to start by saying that this is my favorite FFA since Halo 3, and honestly there isn’t anything I would change about it at the moment. I just wanted to commend 343i on a feature I had no idea was in FFA.
This was one of the most intense, yet fun, FFA matches I’ve ever played. EVERY player was just one kill away from each other in terms of score, I’m talking bottom three are all at 11 kills, while the top players are at 21, 19, 18, etc. As the game was nearing its end, I knew that if I had more time, I would’ve come out on top. There was about ten seconds left, and I was screaming “No! I wanted to win!”
Then OVERTIME kicked in. OVERTIME on a FFA match. The game delivered the unexpected, and it just felt great. Especially when I ended up winning the match that I otherwise would’ve wrongfully lost in other Halo titles. That’s all. That is the end of my positive feedback.
I know there’s a lot of controversy surrounding Infinite right now, but I wanted to share an incredible experience I had and express that I LOVE and definitely want 343i to keep the FFA overtime feature.
