They just need to add all the pieces from the old Halo games into Halo infinite Forge because when I have to create something that’s not in the game currently when I try to change the role or pitch I end up screwing up the thing I created but if they had all the old pieces in the game like they should that wouldn’t be a Yonk problem
So, you are struggling with the controls? I’m not sure how adding more pieces will fix that. The undo button should help when you do something unintentional. Have you been using that?
Is it the sticks and branches you are struggling with specifically?
The game always should have new items, but I understand the frustration of losing various items through different game titles.
I’m using a prefab piece so sometimes when I try to change the pitch or something instead of the whole piece being moved only a part of it is plus I’m having problems getting pieces to line up exactly the magnets in my opinion don’t seem to work or at least I can’t get them to I miss the old Halo Reach controls they are much much easier for me to use they need to have two types of controls the old style from Halo Reach then the current one that everyone apparently is good with but me and there used to be a way to move the pieces left or right in the object properties what’s no longer seems to be the case oh and the ability to change the snap in the object properties is also missing yes I know there’s a different way to change it and I hate it because it doesn’t show you how much it’s changing the snap by
Yeah, Prefabs are a little jank right now. Best you can do is keep a backup nearby in case it screws up.
If you can’t get a magnet to work then you need to just use the coordinate system. Turn off the magnets, move the piece close to wear you want and then us coordinates to get it exact. Also magnets become super picky once if you’re working with super small objects.
You can change the control layout. In forge if you open up the build menu and scroll to the 5th tab, look around and there should be an option to use legacy controls. It’s the closest thing I found to reach.
Rotation snap? That’s… in the game. You can snap at 1/2˚, 1˚, 5˚, 15˚ 30˚, 45˚ 60˚, 90˚ and 180˚. And if you mean movement snap, I thick that’s in the game too.
