My birthday is coming on 28th December. Can I get Halo Infinite on my birthday? I was looking forward to playing it on my birthday as it was to be released in December 2020.

Hey Wolf, hope you have a great birthday (mine is on the 26th!) but I’m afraid you won’t be able to get to play Halo Infinite for your birthday.

Infinite was originally meant to launch with the new Xbox Series X console back in November but 343 made the decision shortly before that to delay the game. We didn’t have a release other than 2021, but that has been narrowed down to Fall 2021 in the latest blog post about Infinite’s development: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/inside-infinite-december-2020

There will be a chance to try it out before it releases next year, so it won’t be long before you can jump in. Until then there’s still loads of Halo related things to do to keep yourself busy:

The game is getting released in Fall 2021 apparently, so I’m sorry you can’t get it for your birthday. As some added advice, I’d recommend not including your real name when talking to strangers online. 99% of the internet is just normal people, but that other 1% is worth worrying about when it comes to protecting your identity.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the current confirmed release window is Fall 2021. Anyways, happy birthday in advance.

Haha my parents flipped when they found out I used my initials for a previous gamertag, but that was like 5 years ago when Halo 5 first released, and I am a changed man now
