Halo Infinite Flights - REPLACE Motion Tracker

The motion tracker has always been the worst aspect of Halo. Seeing every enemy on the map just because they are moving is a terrible way to balance a game. The pace is all over the place.
With the addition of sprint, the Threat Detector made much more sense in gameplay. The Threat detector balanced the sprint mechanic, by exposing you to the enemy radar. The Motion Detector exposes everyone to everyone else, just for moving, the equivalent of a permanent UAV in a Call of Duty.

The Motion Tracker rewards players for no reason. If players lack situational awareness, let them earn it!
Stop placating the lowest common denominator. 343 made the change for a reason. Getting the drop on a team or any individual is near impossible, without literally sitting still in a corner.
Is that really “great Halo” in your opinion?
The Threat Detector makes Halo fun. Stop punishing players for playing the game.

My play experience was much different. The radar was useless the entire time. Game starts and everyone runs to middle of the map and chuck grenades, they are too far away for the radar to even pickup. At any point during the match you get hit from the back or side and you are already dead before you can turn around, if they come from the front you can see them way before they ever get picked up by the radar.

All that means is that they need to expand that Threat Detectors range. The Motion Detector is still a huge flaw. If they expand the Threat Detector, you’d see the running, you’d see the grenade throwing, but, if they start WALKING, it’s on Y O U to find them, before they find you.

Also, to comment specifically about you getting killed before you can turn around, you can’t be mad if the other guy is just that accurate. A fundamental aspect of Halo is that getting the first shot, doesn’t mean you’ll get the kill. Strafing is key. You gotta avoid getting killed as best you can.

it’s a problem when someone, possibly like you, has no opportunity to even catch the superior player off-guard. How could you? If they see A L L motion, except a crouch walk, aka, boring suicide.
