Thought I’d post my personal feedback on the halo infinite flight. Before I start there is a lot I loved about the flight (the sandbox might be at the best halo has ever had) but I’m going to be focusing on things I either think could use some work or did not like as that is more useful for the developers.
-visual and audio feedback could use some tuning, it is hard to tell the direction I am being shot from (the red circle does not do enough and the gunfire blends into itself too much)
-visual feedback on enemy shields could be better, it is difficult to tell the current state of their health; I think shield color should be separate from the outline as that could possibly resolve this
-warthogs could use more health; they die too easily.
-in Big team battle, the absence of the regular halo announcer is missed; would like his voice-lines to be added on big team battle
-bots noticeably don’t use vehicles; I think they should
-gravity hammer should be changed to have the knock-back effect it had in older titles like halo 3
-Grenades (regular and plasma) should have more knock-back
-team player collision should be in the game
-melee feels overpowered; personally think it should be a 3 or 4 hit kill instead of 2 hit kill but maybe that’s just me
-on the map behemoth there’s a spot next to a weapon pickup and some palm trees that bots often get stuck on. It’s near the warthog spawn and one of the weapons that spawn is a Ravager
-not something that will probably be changed but I think bazaar could use a redesign on it’s layout; it’s too campy which leads to boring firefights; the middle section with the market stalls is a death sentence
That’s all the feedback I could think of. I really enjoyed playing infinite and look forward to the release in December
