I just downloaded the flight via steam and everytime I try to launch it, the game starts but stays on the loading screen for 10 seconds before crashing.

There may be another update before it goes live later the 24th. Check your windows logs to see if it might be a driver issue causing the crash.
Mine did this all of last flight and I was unable to play. I though this one would be better but I’m getting the same crash a few seconds after pressing play.

Did you look at your windows logs to see what was causing the crash?
Having this issue too. Looked at the crash logs and said something about not having enough memory. Even though this is opening in a drive with over 700 GB on it…

I’m facing the same issue on both flights, sorry but could you tell me where to find the windows logs to see the cause of the crash? Thanks.

If it’s referencing “memory” and not “storage space” it’s usually a RAM issue— though I’m not 100% positive.
How much RAM is in your system?
(You could also try disabling XMP in your bios and see if that helps anything?)

happening to me also, its annoying i cant play for both flights now
Same is happing to me I have 16gb of ram so idk what is going on.
Mine too
Edit: I uninstalled it on Steam and installed it on another drive and it launched fine into the main menu for once 
Went from SSD to Mechanical for the working drive, though I doubt that matters.

It is still crashing over and over. I am on the Series X. Its a problem on their end and has nothing to do with us most likely. I just played the Vanguard beta and it didn’t have half as many problems as this game apparently does.

I hope its a problem on their end, that way they can at least fix it and its that not I simply can’t play whatsoever for the rest of the flights.

My game crashes every time I try to play social and I keep getting banned, I still haven’t been able to finish one Macy has without it crashing. It’s so depressing, I was extremely excited to play.
Yeah I’m having the same problem, I don’t know why this would be happening but I hope we can get some info on how to fix this in the future since I am looking forward to trying the game…
I’m having the same problem game wont launch from steam it just crashes 10 secs after starting
Same not able to launch, i have a 172 GB of space and it wont run. Plus this PC is only 1 year only Acer Predator Gaming Laptop, so if it wont run because of specs, that is really dumb. I am in the process of reinstalling the flight, hoping that might fix it. Just keeping leaving comments on similar posts, to hopefully get some information from 343.
Of course, when I try to load up into a match, I got so close to playing then boom, it just crashes, i don’t even know what’s going on and how to find a solution for this.
