Give female Spartans a body type slider to make the Spartan more/less curvy
I’m sure people would like to see a thiccccc Spartan… But the only difference that the Male/Female Spartans had was a thin waist… and a slightly smaller build.
If Infinite is going to be touting the “Fully Customizable” experience, then sure… Add a body type slider. I’m not sure if the hit boxes would change if someone made their Spartan have some junk in the trunk…
“WHAT??? HOW DID THEY SHOOT ME!!! I WAS BEHIND THE WALL!!!” —Ummm… Your behind was still visible Karen…
Man give me a female voice that would be enough i think. But ya 343 seem to struggle with Female Asthetics. Halo 4 and 5 they looked like Slender Man and Halo Infinite there are no real Female Spartans at all… just skinny male Spartan.
The Dream of Reach Spartans is… unreachable it seems.

For the love of god, please no.
A serious product should never get its inspiration by rule 34 lol.
Define “really appealing” please.

Halo Reach was realistic and really appealing it seems
Reach yes, anything else no.
Spartans should always look sporty, like c’mon you need that cause they are spartans
Honestly lore wise male and female spartans both look beefy, it’d be hard to tell what their gender is. Like in that one Halo legends short you go thinking the spartan is a dude up until her helmet gets knocked off

Ah I see. I think they will be fine. They are pushing accessibility and inclusion with the prosthetics so I imagine this will be no different.
Yeah, for a game where they’re bragging about character customization, the body types are extremely lacking. You either get skinny dad bod or plain dad bod. Not the jacked supersoldier you would expect out of a Spartan. Even Halo 2’s anorexic Chief could take on these Infinite “Spartans”.

In this case it can backfire because they might believe making Female charakter look less… Female might be more socialy acceptable (Last of us 2 syndrom). Just a sad state of american developers i fear… i hope i just see ghosts of course and we get more in deph charakter customization.

Well what does a female look like? Women in the military look similar because of the gear on them however obviously the body has a spectrum like males do.

Well - if I get it right - Muscles will lead to an more muscular body and so if the body looks less female, it’s just how it is. Nothing bad about it. Stepsis of my gf is also a bodybuilder and yeah she looks less classic female. But hell, Spartans must be like that. With many muscles.

Bone structure is also diffrent especialy the hips area, why i Think reach Had a very realistic Design consider spartan armor is very body tight and a perfect fit custom to any body getting into the armor.
Its Not like i never saw an female bodybuilder
the only way its Hard to Tell apart is because of very loose cloths or medievil armor which is Not tight, but both is Not the case for halo spartan armors.
P. S. Oh and female muscle structure is also diffrent if thats the right term. Female and male have diffrent Center of mass for a reason.
I think male/female body types in Halo Infinite will work slightly different to the way that they worked in previous games. Rather than just having you select between a male body type that is more muscular or I guess thicker around the torso and waist and a female body type that is thinner around the waist, they had the body type slider which covered basically the same ground. In the tech test you could choose between your Spartan having a small, medium, or thicker torso and waist area. It was hard to see if other portions of the body changed such as the chest area or the butt portion. Regardless I think the way they are going about the body customization is really more about letting you choose the body type that you want and then having a voice type that is independent of the body type. So unlike previous Halos where in order to have a female voice you had to choose the one female body type, now you can have any body type in the game and still have a female voice if you so choose. I’m sure the final game will include more body types than what was shown in the tech test and some may be more feminine or masculine looking than what we’ve seen so far. Also certain armors may show off a body type better than the armors that were in the test. Some of the renders of armors that 343 have released previously have shown off more feminine-looking body types than what we saw in the tech test so I’m sure there’ll be something there for everyone.

A woman can have muscles and still look very feminine. For the sake of personalization and inclusion, they would be doing many players a disservice by limiting body type options to the descriptionless “0”, “1” and “2”. There are plenty of male and female Halo players who played sports all through college, still regularly work out, and have muscular builds. How am I supposed to feel like a Spartan when my IRL body puts these stick figures to shame?
It is also worrisome that only the undersuit changes slightly when choosing your body type. After seeing this, I assume that they completely ignored adjusting the actual armor pieces to mold around varying body types. It seems intentional and fixing this is probably not an overnight adjustment.

That wouldnt bother me but right now as other have said the diffrent body types look very similar just a Skinnier Guy to a more Dad Bod Guy and voice selection wasnt part of the selection at all

Thats why i also originaly said i wish for more overall options then just generic Feminin and generic Masculine Bodytype.
Does halo really need -Yoink!- appeal in its super soldiers, I was always put off by reachs gaint -Yoinks!-. I mean they’re wearing combat armor you’d think they’d want it less form fitting and more protective
