Progression feels slow and counterproductive to the point it ruins gameplay

Only path to getting XP is to complete challenges causing each match to only feel rewarding progression wise if a challenge is completed and while some can be completed in one match others can take multiple matches just to complete a single one which then leads to

Challenges offer too little XP and make progressing the Battlepass feel incredibly slow. Granted more difficult/longer to complete challenges can reward more XP it still is too little as they don’t even bring you up a single level

Challenges force certain styles of gameplay which feels counterproductive to letting players play how they want (ex. Player wants to play BTB and receives challenges that only progress in quick play causing player to either play what they want and receive no progress at all or play a game mode they don’t want)

Challenges force players to use specific weapons/vehicles or even play certain game modes which are found completely at random preventing players from completing what would otherwise be a moderately simple challenge. (ex. Play a match of oddball when its only available in quick play and game modes are chosen at random so a oddball match could pop up in 2 matches or 20, Get a kill with the Bulldog shotgun but play on maps where the bulldog is not available or rare enough that it is difficult to get)

These challenges can also force players to play a certain way which can affect how matches play out (ex. People rushing for a certain weapon or camping vehicle spawns just to get X kills with a certain weapon which can hurt player/match performance. Especially when playing objective game types.)

2X XP Boosters should not countdown outside of gameplay at all and also are way too short. A single match of BTB can last an entire 30 mins and I could potentially not even complete a single Challenge during those 30 mins meaning I just wasted it if that happens
GAME MODES/PLAYLISTS

While what is currently available is a nice start we are missing multiple core game modes. (Swat, Infection, Fiesta, Snipers, Shotty Snipers, etc)

Not enough variety in playlists. This is partly due to the missing game modes listed above but we should be able to choose if we just want casual quick play or if we want to play specific game modes within the casual playlist (ex. A player wanting to play BTB but only wanting BTB Slayer and not Total Control, this also ties into how certain challenges would be much easier to complete like playing X matches of Oddball if players could actually choose to play oddball and not just hope it gets selected while going through quick play)
CUSTOMIZATION/MONETIZATION

Coatings and Visors should not be locked to specific armor cores. Armor attachments somewhat make sense as different armor cores can be set up completely different and some attachments may not mesh well with certain pieces but Visors and Coatings are just a texture/coloring (I understand there may be more going on behind the scenes to this than what I understand but this also is a big issue on the monitization front as well. More on that later)

Cosmetics should be earnable elsewhere other than the battlepass and the store. I know campaign will give armor as well but currently there is no way to earn armor outside of the free battlepass tiers without buying them from the store or buying the battlepass

Items in the store are way too expensive, currently its $20 for an armor set, visor, and armor coating when it should probably be half that price and even then I think that might be a bit higher than I would like especially if the shop is going to have new items every week. I am an avid collector when it comes to customization and spending potentially +$20 a week on shop items is way too much

All of the items featured in the store that are spartan customization items are exclusive to the Mark VII armor core making it so if I see a coating in the store I really like but am currently using the Mark V (B) armor core currently featured as part of the Season Pass then I can’t use that coating on my preferred armor so I have to either switch armor sets/cores or simply pass up on it. This sucks for me personally cause I really like some of the coatings and visors included with the various esports packs but don’t want to buy them because I prefer to use the Mark V (B) which currently has a lot more customization available to me right now.
