As I sit in boredom, I decided to write some feedback because I don’t have much better to do and there’s some things I would like to address. Mainly being the progression system and how once you reach level 100 there isn’t any progression to grind for until May, that’s kind of absurd. I miss Halo 5’s 152 ranking system a lot.
I also really don’t agree with the way the store works. I’d really like the mister Chief AI but I don’t want to spend $20 for it. I don’t want to spend money on customization at all to be honest. I guess I’m old school in that way. You could make the argument that that’s the price you pay when the multiplayer is free but I would have rather payed extra for the multiplayer as a whole and be able to grind and unlock anything customization based the old fashion way, by playing the game. It’s more satisfying to know you earned what you unlocked instead of just saying here’s my money so I look cool. Lame!
Other than that, I love the gameplay but I’m ready for a new map or two in the ranked playlist’s rotation. It just would be nice for replay-ability at this point.
That’s enough whining from me to feel better about myself lol.

If I knew what I know now I would not of even bought the battle pass. Halo is one of my favorite games and def don’t mind funding it to make it better but I have no spent a dime since the battle pass.
343 like The Coalition to Gears is an embarrassment and a slap in the face to the communities the way they are running 2 top franchises.

Facts. They took the fortnite formula and ran with it.

It sucks man. But it fills their pocket so I doubt it will change. (That sounds like a rap verse lol)

Unfortunately every game now that’s racked in profit off store transactions ie COD Fortnite Gears etc is the formula to make money especially when it’s f2p. Agree otherwise though, hopefully a update as to what they plan to do in the coming weeks after the holiday break would be nice next week.
It’s almost like a company needs money to pay for rent, food water electricity clothes and basic human needs
Shocker
Awful point - plenty of companies have different business models and still supply themselves as you’ve poorly attempted to point out.

I’m not saying it’s not a successful practice if you’re looking at income it’s bringing in, I’m saying that the practice is not for the players that don’t want to pay extra for little things.
“Shut up and take my money” culture in video games is not a good thing.
Pal did you even look at what I typed was in sarcasm like at all?
I hate ranked arena, we need a ranked slayer playlist asap
its called make a good game altogether, then launch it, and then make your money… You wouldn’t buy a new car and then the company try and sell you the engine, tires, and interior weeks or months later…
Make a good game and it will make the money for them. They just ripping the community off for colors and skins. which has NO WEIGHT towards the goodness of the game, just shows they’ll do anything for the people that only care about how they look. AND it is showing. nearly half of the population of Halo players have already stopped play infinite… very sad days to come.

And where is this half pop drop from? If it’s from the steam player count that’s not a good idea to base it on 1 way to play
is that not one of the modern popular outlets to play on? Half the people that want to play on new xboxes can’t and a bunch of older players won’t even buy the game yet.
We’ll can’t do much against scalpers I’m afraid but again I don’t think this half pop drop is true on steam maybe but for console abd the pc Xbox app I don’t think so if it was I’d be sitting at the match search for a good while
Look player pop drops happen ow abd then it just happens there’s no need to just say dead game all the time when stuff like this just happens naturally
I wasn’t saying it was dead. but that is just not good publicity for a brand new “game of the year” game lol. If they can’t keep the younger gens attention then who are they making all the BP and skins for? They’re trying to appease the wrong crowd and its costing them loyal fans. Not saying the die hard fans who will play it regardless of how wack it is won’t always be there but to loose any amount of player base this early is not a welcoming sign.

True I get what you mean but at the same time who knows what will happen in the new year either way this is one hell of a climb for 343 to take

Totally agree that they’re trying to appease the wrong crowd. Halo was built on rated M epicness, not buyable skins. Still love the game, just a lot of swing and misses by 343 in my opinion.

Not even, Fortnite let’s you buy individual things in the bundle, and you can mix and match your purchased items and mic and match them.
Halo Infinite took their system and said let’s make it like that but way more restrictive.
No cross core stuff, no buying individual items. Also let’s take stuff that was free by default like the 60 basic colors they had in 5 and give them back 10 of those colors and lock the other 50 behind a paywall and just recycle those colors over and over for the next 10 yrs
