So far loving infinite. Love the weapon balance and how the weapons have their own unique role. Obviously need some tuning but loving it.
Now on topic, I do find some of halo infinite effects lackluster in comparison to halo 3/reach etc. For example, when vehicles explode, the explosion lack “punch”. They don’t break apart like previous halos and dissappear quickly. The doomsday mechanic is cool but the flashing red vehicle makes it look cheesy to be honest. I can’t explain it but the explosions and effects seem incomplete. That just might be it, they are incomplete but I hope they are addressed.
Yeah the emp is a glowing blue paintjob, not electric with sparks flying out. The warthog will glow red, bounce into the sky, and have it’s wheels pop off. Where explosions do actually exist, something like the Frag’s explosion looks straight out of Fortnite. It’ll feel weird in the campaign, since they’re setting a serious tone, but have such cartoony effects everywhere, from blood to explosions. Whereas in like you say Halo Reach, a serious tone worked, because the explosions were gritty and had weight behind them.
100% agree. I’m hoping that 343 just didn’t have the vehicles fully complete during the flight, and that we’ll have proper destructible, and battle da,aged looking vehicles, and nicely exploding and destroyed looking blown up vehicles.
Ya I’m hooked and cant wait to play it this December. I’ve been playin battlefield 2042 and i prefer halo infinite over it.

That’s what I’m hoping. Otherwise the game looks great!
