What Easter Eggs would you like to see in Halo Infinite?
For me:
- Craig is my number 1 without a doubt.
- A COG Tag (It would be cool a reference for the brother Gears).
- Halo Reach references.
- Reference to Bungie and the original Halo creators, that would be epic and cool from 343 Industries part.
- A lot of talkative Grunts!
- Phil Spencer as a UNSC Marine or ODST. (Yes, you read it right)

I know they’ve done cross overs and stuff with a lot of Xbox Game Studio Games in other games but I don’t know if I wanna see it all the time. I guess little nods are alright but after it’s done so many times, I feel like I kinda loses its feeling and more just comes to be expected.
343 should give us a Craig skull in the campaign to make him a AI friendly and have Craig dialogue

Or what if the Craig skull was a massive troll that reverted the game back to -Yoink- graphics and they actually end up really polishing the game. The long con. Lol
He could also be holding a beer oh and his head could animated through the different memes

They could put Marcus Fenix in a secret area with him screaming about his tomatoes and he looks like the weird ape things in Halo 3
I think they should hide a Brute somewhere that is missing its armor and has the same expression as Craig, and then have him be friendly and if you find him you would not only get an achievement but maybe he would say some rare dialog, or maybe even if 343 wanted to, you could recruit him, and he would follow you and fight with you, like a marine.
I would like to see a TrumpGrunt.
Hidden away
With the hair and orange skin/mask.
That says 100s of Trump quotes in a grunt voice

He should also be standing next to an incomplete wall.
I want a hidden boss fight with a giant brute but with a low poly model of Phil Spencer’s face that uses voice clips of Phil Spencer talking about the Series X being the most powerful console while he beats the -Yoink- out of you.
Spartan armor set (or pieces) inspired by Gears of War armor. Similar to the security armor and Marathon.
Shirtless developer.
Cavemen family.
Talking grunt (thirst, scared, whatever).
Notice board, including reference to missing cat.
Big soccer ball
DJ brute (Craig?)
Funniest community speculations about Halo Infinite over the last couple years, realized in the form of easter eggs. Noble 6 surviving by hiding in a cave for example, they could have an audio log of him being slowly cooked to death in a cave while the surface of Reach is glassed. That’s a bit dark (maybe more suitable to the Borderlands franchise), but you get the idea.
Maybe a button hidden somewhere which turns all the brutes to craig.
I would like to explore the ring and run into old school MP maps, like Blood Gulch or Beaver Creek. It would be cool to see those landmarks tied into the landscape.

Yes I’d like an Easter egg for Marathon. And all the other stuff you said

I mean, i think there are old Bungie references all over the old games. Like, i’m pretty sure 343 Guilty Spark’s eye is literally the marathon logo. Marathon Infinity was the last Marathon game, and Halo Infinite is the last Halo game (for the next 10 years at least). Maybe something to do with the UNSC Infinity.
Side note, Marathon had Forge (and Anvil) tools.
I got most of this info from wikis just now, but you get my point, there is certainly lots of opportunities to have more Marathon easter eggs.
I’m not sure i would expect 343i to care too much about Bungie’s legacy though… It seems more likely that they’d put mostly recurring Halo easter eggs, other in-universe easter eggs, and Microsoft exclusive easter eggs. Maybe some 343i easter eggs, but they haven’t developed anything other than Halo, so… Minecraft?

Can you imagine saving a Spartan in Gears of War inspired armor with some crazy quotes about the locust?
I would also like to see some hidden references to Bungie, the original creators of Halo and Phil Spencer.
