I think its good to show the same thing to show the improvements. That being said, I also want something new in addition to it

Exactly. It would be nice to compare the two trailers side by side one day.
I’d like to see more weapons. But I guess we have to see the same demo again just updated so we can see the big changes. I’m also wondering what the release date will be? I’m expecting them to totally own the show this E3. Halo will be the talk of E3 for sure!

No news is definitely not good news. Updated gameplay with improved graphics will put a lot of people at ease, I know a lot of people that are speculating to buy the game until they see more footage and news. As for developers, the game is content complete. It’s just bug fixing, tuning, improvements, and polishing the game at this point.

If they plan to stick to a 2021 release date, I will be disappointed with anything less than a new cinematic trailer, gameplay showcasing improvements made this last year, and a date for multiplayer flights.
Infinite needs to make a good impression if they plan for it to be a 10 year game. Unfortunately the lackluster presentation last year has made a good impression this year much more critical

Definitely getting multiplayer gameplay, with beta flights probably starting in July or August. I think 343 will reveal the large scale mp mode that they have hinted at. We’ll also probably get an updated campaign demo, It will probably be of one of the first few missions. I doubt 343 will show any footage of the second half of the game until release. And we should get an exact release date.
I’m not sure if E3 will happen in the way that most hope this year. Last year a lot of companies did their own thing and E3 is usually better when the crowds are going since it builds up the ‘excitement’ factor. I suspect we might just get a Microsoft event similar to Nintendo Direct this year but obviously with Phil Spencer showing off games. I would love to see E3 return someday but it doesn’t feel like the right time while the world is dealing with the epidemic. At least 343i seem to be interested in monthly news on Infinite in the blogs every month at the end of the months.

This - I could very well see a world where they maybe do both: show updated version from last year plus something new but maybe that would be asking too much in terms of dev time for the event itself.
If I had to choose I bet they show something entirely new for the sake of the inevitable “still looks like crap” outrage posting (because gamer rage) that would inevitably come if they showed off last years demo now updated.

I predict November 15th release as well, especially if the public flights are going to be in the summertime after E3. 343 needs time to implement what they learn from these beta tests.

That’s possible, but I think 343 will stick to a Tuesday release like usual. My prediction is October 26, but that is just speculation

They can’t miss the 2021 release, no more delays, honestly. Definitely, their showcase at this E3 better knock our socks off, hell remember when ske7ch said Infinite was gonna steal E3 2020 before it got delayed, I have no idea how they thought that, with the showcase they gave us back in July.

I would love it if they could do 2 gameplay footages but unfortunately I’m not sure if that will be the case since they have to do updated campaign, multiplayer and maybe flight info which will take up a big chunk of time just for Halo.
