Halo infinite doesn’t look next gen quiet yet

I’ll just start by saying that I really loved how the gameplay looked. It was amazing to see the old art style with a fresh game style. however, I think a lot of us can agree that the graphics were… well not quiet next gen. For me personally it ruins the experience, but I wanna know what the rest of the community has to say. Does anyone know if they will improve sometime soon before launch?

The game is pretty in my opinion, and it’s especially pretty when Chief first gets out of the Pelican and looks around, but I agree that it doesn’t feel like it’s up to par with other current games (look how gorgeous Red Dead 2 is for how massive the world is) or looks next gen, and I also feel the graphics were underwhelming when considering how detailed everything is in the Slipspace Engine demo. Granted, that wasn’t gameplay and was just a trailer rendered in-engine, but it definitely set the bar quite high and I don’t think 343 quite delivered on the graphical side of the game. Again, the game is pretty, but I think we were all expecting it to be visually stunning and that’s just not the case. However, maybe it will look much better once we play the game for ourselves on our own console/PC and screen compared to the stream and gameplay footage on YouTube
