Halo infinite DLC suggestion: Combat evolved

A UNSC distress signal results in Chief coming into contact with surviving ODST’s now they must work to fight of the banished and an old threat.

In this DLC you continue Chiefs story Fighting on the ring and trying to retake it from the banished, as resistance mounts a distress signal comes in From an unknown spartan who is trapped with several ODST’s in a post war ONI bunker on the ring. Head out and save them.


Mission one: Condors flight

the story starts with said signal and an audio log, to instigate the DLC you head back to outpost trevonious and board echo 216 along with a group of marines. The first mission is the beach head where you are to find and set up the location for an FoB. this is a liniar mission along a jungle swamp area similar to 343 guilty spark in halo CE.

Eventualyl you find a clearing which is perfect for the FoB to be set up setting down a flair starts a cut scene in which a condor comes in and deploys the FoB. Echo 216 stating he wishes he could flow that baby. the condor belongs to the group you are here to save and they can use it to deploy FoBs for you.

The second mission puts you into the open world.


Mission two: Swamp lands

This mission starts right after you place the FoB, the path you took to get there closed off. Here you are contacted by the spartan, told they are hold up in a UNSC firebase on the other side of the island the banished have 2 AA guns guarding it so they can’t get to close with the condor. your main objectives are to take down the two AA guns, and retake the FoB close to the Firebase.

This is the open world section, on it are several side objectives, some grunt propaganda stations, and 4 squad rescues. Should be noted that these rescues are all active combat squads not tied up.

Pushing your way through you eventually make it to the Firebase which is another story mission in which you fight through the internals watching a full fledged combat situation.


Mission three: Firebase Delta

This mission starts with you entering the firebase. the Marines stating the banished are pushing into the lower levels and they need your help. it is al linear mission in which you fight the banished and the endless on your way to the fire bases reactor room where everyone is hold up.

Eventually you get to the reactor room just in time to see a spartan killer, a T’vaoans Skirmisher put a mangler shot into the shoulder of the spartan, she turns to see you and lest loose a barrage, she is unique in the fact she has two manglers dual wielding them as well as using a cloaking device to hide when wounded. Thankfully the other spartan is alive so it is an easy fight. Well for the first half in the second half she calls in other skirmishers to help her armed with plasma rifles.

Upon beating her you reconnect with the spartan who tells you what has been happening in this section, this pulls you up to the main map as he points out 3 areas of interest on these islands his group was tasked with taking down a war ship repair operation set up on the edge of this island, while they where able to do it, he lost a lot of good men and the rest of his squad.

He now needs your help in reconnecting the islands and retaking them as the banished have deployed locusts and vampires which he doesn’t have the fire power to deal with.


this kicks you back into the main world where the next 3 islands are opened up. the spartan marking the main objective for each of them.

island one has a break down yard where the banished have been taking UNSC mantis’s he doesn’t know what they are doing with them, but he knows it isn’t good.

Island two has the main story continue an ONI flood research facility built into a forrunner facility the banished are trying to breach it, and if the readings are right tehy might doom everyone if they do.

Island three has the warship repair yard which while damaged is still functional, it is another story mission but it is cut off at the start.


Over all from this point the flow is you go to stop teh banished from breaching the ONI flood research facility but you are to late an ONI agent who was still alive unleashes teh flood causing it to spread over the 4 islands thankfully sentinel defenses are able to prevent it from spreading past the 4 islands.

From there your objective changes to saving and regruping anyone you can and making your way to the warship to destroy is so the flood can’t escape this section.

After that is complete you activate sentinel defense systems and clear the island bit by bit so that echo 216 can take you and the survivors back to the main staging area.

Once the campaign is done, two new things are unlocked at FoBs. The mantis, and a locust drop. both of which are mechs.

also with this would be new weapons and vehicles. Examples a tube fed shotgun, a suppressed version of the sniper, the halo 5 era rocket launcher, a beam rifle, and the halo 1-3 era plasma rifle.
