I think it’s fair to say that I’m having A BLAST on Halo Infinite. My friend and I were going wild when we saw the MP getting released early. What we have now feels pretty similar to flight 2, but with more content for us to use. There were some balancing changes, mostly understandable ones, and some I thought to be a little weird but I went with it.
We do have to remember that this is a beta and a first day release, so I would like to add a few things I feel would benefit the multiplayer, and I do realize some of you might see it as biased, but oh well.

Aim assist and controller acceleration sometimes feel very inconsistent across different weapons, but this may also be due to my lower frames and internet lag. I found the BR pretty standard to use; it felt good, aim assist was there but not overpowering, and the recoil while scoped in seems to be reduced from the flights. But guns such as the sniper and stalker seem to have aim assist that’s much more difficult to manage on controller, and I’ve been messing around with control sensitivities and dead zones to little success. Could be that I’m just bad at aiming precision weapons, but they feel very hard to hit shots with. Halo 4 and 5 felt a little too easy to hit shots with, Halo 2 and 3 felt pretty good, but for me, this is very difficult. Also seems like the commando and sidekick get decreased AA and increased acceleration when zoomed in, which I can’t seem to fix.

Server lag. Multiple times, I start lagging EVERYWHERE. I’ll be on the ground, then up in the sky, and then on the ground again, then dead instantly. I loaded up MCC and H5 and those were fine, so I’m guessing it’s just the servers for Infinite that still need a little bit of work. The hit detection is also pretty late or just doesn’t register.
And yep that’s about it for now. It’s definitely improved from the flight, just a few small nitpicks. Let me know what y’all think below! See you on the battlefield!
