Introduction
Ever since Halo Infinite has launched, I have loved it. The game modes are fun, customization is cool but does need working, and the core game play is really good this time, and the campaign is just…. Perrrfection (pun intended). All though I’ve played Halo Infinite since November 15th, I have fallen out of interest playing the game because of the lack of content and no new armor, mods, cores, forge, and Co-Op but the most annoying feature I see in the game is the store. I will admit I like the idea that 343i is lowering prices and it should stay like that, but the problem I have with the store is that we have to wait for a single piece of gear, visor, armor coatings, and more for weeks or even months. Now, I know you may be thinking “it’s a F2P game, you’re supposed to wait” and I know that but 343i promised us “millions of customization possibilities” and said that “most of the armor is unlocked by playing the game” then lied. That’s why I created the Customization Catalog, a part of the customization menu where you can buy any armor, coating, visor, shoulder pads, knee pads, attachments, stances, and everything else that has released in the store for any armor core.
Explanation
I wanted to create this so that the player can have that “millions of customization possibilities” we should have had. The player will be able to buy anything to their choosing and they can either buy that cosmetic in the pack that it’s in or buy it by its own which will be cheaper than buying it in the pack. I have also planned on making the shoulder pads one item where if you buy one pad you get the other like how it was in Halo MCC. How will the navigation work? It’ll work by pressing RB and LB to go to different tabs, it’ll go down the up to the next set then down the repeat and the tabs that have attachments like the helmets tab, you’ll use the D-Pad the navigate those. I thought of event items being in there as well only if they’ve been in the store, for example, the Cyber Showdown shop items and the Tenrai events shop items. A lot of us don’t have the time to play games and miss out on a shop item that released and some wanted it and will have to wait for it to come back out, but with the Customization Catalog you can just go in there, find that you want, buy it, and enjoy.
I hope a 343i employee looks at this and thinks about it because I do want the players to have a truly never-ending customization system where they can get any store item at any given time and make their spartan.
