Halo infinite : CUSTOMIZATION BUILT ON A LIE

About mcc profits, i saw that on Steam the mcc has a “bronze” medal regarding total sales in 2021, the sales were probably a lot higher in 2019 and 2020, so 343 gained at least some money and more importantly, the trust of the old fans. Leaving the mcc behind wihtout any fixes would have been very shameful.

About infinite, i seriously doubt that they spent 500 million dollars excluding advertising, the game is clearly incomplete and has less feature, more bugs and glitches than many modern and old games

Unfortunately, I have no clue about the exact budget for the respective Halo games and how much profit that these games has generated. However, my guess is that MCC is far from a direct cash machine due to a low purchasing price any pretty much no alternative sources from income than copies sold. A feasible option could be that MCC has mainly been a marketing tool for Halo Infinite product to bring increased value to the brand itself.

I was actually surprised going back to CoD recently with their battle pass model. Only need to buy one and you can get all future battle passes with points. And you don’t even need to max out the pass to get enough points to buy the next. It’d be really nice if 343 did something similar with Infinite.

Didn’t read at all. But I totally agree.

Thank you, as long as you read the first few paragraphs / sentences, I appreciate that.

A little sassy but you’re not wrong. The customisation is disappointing, and the shop/battle pass is incredibly inferior to other ganes ones.

I do believe they will change things though. It’s an unfinished game in my eyes, so there’s much more coming in the future. Probably!

The question is what will change though, and how much for the better.
