Halo Infinite customisation

Probably one of the things I am excited for is the announcement for the customisation! It is one thing that this series is very consistent with!! I really hope they keep their dignity and don’t do DLC armour sets or supply drops stuff!! other than that im uber excited to see what 343 have in the pipeline… especially with this new ENGINE.

I wouldn’t say consistent. Reach is where halos customization was at its best and since then we haven’t had a game that had the level that reach had. Sure halo 5 had a lot of opinions but most of them were just reskins and a lot of them just didn’t look good and you were only allowed to choose helmet, armor, and visor. That being said it sounds like Infinite will fix this problem because Chris lee said those who loved Reach customization will love infinite.

I personally loved reach and 4’s customisation!! if they met half way id cry in a very good way haha… i dont care aslong as it is earnable, not behind loot boxes or pay walls etc etc. I dont mind a season pass armour like halo 4 or something like that, i.e 1 or 2 sets… not 10 legendary ones with 1 in/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx amount to drop.

I have alot of faith in microsoft and 343 and personally dont think they’ll stoop so low as they know the community loves what we have already had.

So many people have been saying that loot boxes aren’t attractive and I hope 343 understands why this ruins the game. People want to have a personal touch to their armor through completing challenges and ranking up. It shows off a players skill and commitment to the game, while loot boxes and random drops makes it difficult for a player to really appreciate their Spartan’s armor. Without the need for a challenge to be completed and the randomness of a drop, what ever you get out a loot box or paid DLC isn’t unique to the players experience. I will not say req packs and DLC should be demonized in anyway, but I personally would prefer having control of what I unlock.

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY! your spartan is your spartan!! if i had to splatter 1000 enemies fora helmet i want people to see it and be like damn! not oh i have a pink unicorn helmet from a supply drop… yeah they maybe funny or cool but it takes away from everything that makes halo and in particular the customization… away from it.

My hope is that they overhaul the customization and bring it back to how it was in Reach, but with a few improvements. In a perfect world, all armor across the Halo games, or the most popular ones at least, would return. But instead of only being able to change the helmets, chest, knee guards, and forearms, they expand to include the feet, knees, and hands. In addition, we should have the option to trade out gear like (the cloth on Jun’s armor) in addition to the attachments. Visor colors and any armor color should be fully customizable. Along with a standard set of colors, there would be a wheel to pick from. The only variants should be battle damaged versions of the armor sets, lights should be customizable, and skins should come as an option to all armor types.

Reach-tier customization would be nice.

And I prefer the older style. I like that the armor looks clunky. It’s something you don’t really see in sci-fi very much. Most sci-fi stuff looks so sleek and while I don’t dislike that style inherently I’ve just always felt that Halo’s style was unique among the now countless sci-fi media.

I didn’t play Halo 4 but I DID play Halo 2, Halo3, Reach, and Halo 5 (Forge). I never really used Elites when they were available but some people did. I hope they bring them back. And I always kind of wished they would let us play using Brute models. I actually probably would use one of those if there was Chieftain armor.
