Halo Infinite Crossplay Question

Hi All,

First time poster, let me know if this is the wrong place or format.

I’m a competitive Xbox gamer that dislikes playing against highly skilled mouse and keyboard players, especially when snipers are involved. Does anyone know if crossplay will be mandatory in Halo Infinite? Or if there’s a chance ranked mode will be split by mouse and keyboard and controller players like Smite? I’ve heard a rumour that m&k players will be getting aim assist in Infinite which would make matters worse for us controller bois.

If prior development decisions (MCC input based matchmaking) are any indication of 343’s intentions, they will do it again in Infinite.
