Why can’t I use a matchmaking playlist to look for three more players to play the single-player game in cooperative mode with? Especially considering that tiny insignificant detail to the Halo fans…SPLIT SCREEN WAS PROMISED IN HALO INFINITE AND IS STILL GUTTED TO THIS VERY DAY, DESPITE A YOINKING 87% IMPLEMENTATION RATE!!!

OG reach also had campaign matchmaking for coop, this definitely should return (and pls also be added to MCC)

Because not a lot, or nobdy, even used it in Reach. Its also not even a necessary mechanic.
Nevermore, Infinite isnt a guided campaign like previous. A lot more freedom. If you dont get to do what you want and forced somewhere with a rando, whos the say everyone leaves eventually?

It’s actually pretty simple: 343 can’t deliver the most fundamental things and/or changes things for the worse.
Community interest. There was forum about this some time ago and people said the exact thing. Nobody ever used the function, nevermind no actual post about them even considering this multiplayer option of 343i even planning to add a match system.
Of course if they cant hold to splitscreen, why of all things you are being disappointed over something that never 343i have planned? Of all things they failed to do, this is something that you as a player would disappoint themselves on.
This is a great idea and should definitely be part of the game like MCC.
