The 15 to 20 dollar transactions for trash content is rediculous! This game had so much potential to be something AMAZING and failed miserably!

In regard to the cosmetics (which you alluded to as your only point) I have to agree.
Nothing has really made me go “damn, I wanna spend money on that”.
As for the gameplay content when there isn’t an issue with latency, crashes, bugs or the uncommon suspicious player, it’s pretty fun. Needs more in time as the game progresses, but it’s not horrible. It’s far more fun with friends though, unfortunately most of mine have moved on.

You can’t say that on here. All the trolls that pretend they love this game that will make their dumb comments will say “it’s the best work 343/Microsoft has ever done”.
Not that is true, but it is comical watching them go overboard trying to defend 343 oven though this is their 3rd strike.

99% of the stuff I don’t want and will never use, but if I see something I’ll use for at least 6 months or longer, I’ll buy it. I’ve used ZVEZDA the whole time, and don’t regret buying it. I’ll probably keep using it until they either add Hayabusa, Venator, or some other unique futuristic visor helmet I like.
Idk why everyone is so obsessed with the classic Motocross style helmets. I get that that’s OG Halo, and Chief wore a Motocross helmet, but it’s super far in the future, and I’d like more Deadspace, Crysis, Eve Dust, DOOM, Gears of War, Killzone, Star Wars, Warhammer, etc style helmets and armors. The Iron Eagle upcoming core will bring a few of those styles, which is nice. Sucks we can’t mix cores though.
The store needs to focus on selling content that isn’t canon and brings something new to Halo. That’s what makes something worth buying. 343 screwed up when they decided to sell canon old Halo stuff and colors that don’t work on other cores, vehicles, and weapons.
This opinion is fine, but I have such a weird disconnect reading this. The only thing content related that you bring up is cosmetic MTX. Presumably, if they were to fix the sole complaint that you’ve made here, then the game will fulfill its potential and be “amazing” as you said.
You mean to tell me the biggest thing holding back Halo Infinite from true greatness is cosmetic cat ears (and the like) that have no impact on gameplay whatsoever?
I don’t think I’ve ever played a game and been like “this entire game failed miserably because the cosmetics cost way too much.”

Each time I see a commenter say that Infinite’s monetization scheme is “the most predatory shop in years,” it gives me flashbacks to mobile games and certain non-western MMOs

Gambling $99.99 for 50 pulls on a 100 pull guaranteed 5 star, but only 50% chance it will be the 5 star you wanted, potentially blowing $400 for a full pity to get 1 copy of your cute anime waifu, but you need 6 more duplicates to max out their abilities, costing at max pity failure, $2400 for one full power waifu, in a team of 4.

It’s not for everyone. A portion of these cosmetics specifically appeal to weeb whales. They are the target consumer. If it’s Japanese or anime related, they will buy it.
