First off, let me just say this game is amazing. My friends and I, all of us halo players since CE’s release are super optimistic after playing in this game’s flight. BTB is absolutely stunning, and on a last positive note I just wanted to say thank you 343 for listening to the fan base as much as you do and for constructing such a beautiful game.
Now for the constructive feedback.

Vehicle health indicators: most of the vehicles I have operated are near impossible to tell if they’re really damaged or not, especially the ghost and the banshee, though the scorpion tank is perfect, the warthog and mongoose are alright. Let’s start with the ghost, there needs to be some visible damage to the top of the vehicle, like in halo 3 and halo 2 how the top came off, when that happened you knew the armor was minimal and you’d soon be doomed. Same with the banshee, there’d be visible marks on its body denoting its damage, a warping of the cockpit. In halo infinite there’s no such indicator, I’d really like to see more visible signs that your vehicle is damaged so that you know it’s gonna blow up.

Outlines: outlines should have the option to be toggled on or off, I’ve seen many people complain about them and though I love them, I don’t see a reason people shouldn’t have an option to go back to red vs blue. Also if you could have an option to disable seeing allies through walls that’d be fantastic, it’s just too much clutter for me.

The needler should be returned to its former overshield destroying glory, where a super combine kills someone with overshield.

The speed line toggle option doesn’t work.

Can we please increase the radar range back to its classic 25m? People are moving faster in this game, a faster paced game should have a larger radar, it just makes sense. The 18m seems near useless, and I’ve felt that way since H5. Casual classic fans like our radar, if you could bring back the old one that’d be huge, even meet me in the middle, like 24m? Just kidding haha, even 22m should be fine I’m sure. Just please consider changing this.

Increase knock back of explosions: one of the best parts about halo 3 was the crazy stuff that could happen when you threw a grenade or shot a rocket. The knock back of an explosion I’d argue is an integral piece of what makes halo halo, the grenade jumps, rocket jumps, displacement of objects, etc. they make explosions fun and useful, who doesn’t want that? To me, one of the biggest mistakes a gaming company can make is not following the simple “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” saying. If it works, don’t take it away, but add something new instead. - Oh and really quickly, aim assist needs to be increased, I forgot about that but as a controller user it feels as if there is none at range. - My last topic is the hud: first off it looks really good, however I’d like the option to place it in the top right hand corner. Also, if I could see both of the grenades I’m carrying at the same time and which one is selected that’d be fantastic. It’s small UI changes like these that make a huge difference in gameplay.
I’d like to finish off with saying that this list is incredibly small compared to stuff I’ve said in the past about newer halo games, not only that but a lot of video games I play. Halo infinite is without a doubt the greatest game I’ve played since titanfall 2, and it’s the best halo game I’ve played since halo 3. I absolutely love the glimpse we got of this game, the sandbox is vibrant and has life to it. I can see the forge potential and am sitting at the edge of my seat in anticipation. Infinite will be a lifelong loved game of mine I know it, and I just want to say thank you 343, if you ever see this I just want you to know you’ve successfully won over one of your harshest critics that has wanted you to succeed since halo 4.
