Does anyone know anything yet? I made a post in the past, I’m just a little OCD when it comes to getting everything available when it comes to Halo. I’m not sure if the version out right now with the statue is the true collectors edition or if they are going to later come out with a legendary version at E3 this year. My only worry is how the bots are currently clearing off online shelves when it comes to the new consoles. I hope that doesn’t happen but in any case I’m hoping they let the community know before they blurt it out at E3 or we will be buying them off eBay for double or triple the price.
Nothing yet, keep an eye out over the next couple months though. They generally announce these things around E3.
Edit: The game is set to launch within the next 4 months. It’s looking increasingly unlikely.
I saw Best Buy was bundling the game with a Master Chief statue. Appears to be 3rd Party though.

Yeah I seen that one, I’m hoping for a console version or something similar to what they made in the past.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t have a “collector’s edition”, to be honest.
I think that maybe the Dark Horse statue was originally supposed to be a part of one, but the delayed release meant that they allowed Dark Horse to sell them off instead of paying to store them for a year.
I’m really just hoping for a nice steel-book and maybe some nice bonus stuff like soundtrack or a making of documentary.

Good God. I’ve spent thousands of my hard-earned money on Halo merchandise since the beginning, but even $350 USD for something like that is hard to swallow. Your suggestions are really thoughtful though. I haven’t pre-ordered Infinite yet because I normally pre-order the highest edition possible (which hasn’t been made available yet), plus I still have some apprehensions with the game too.

When you factor in everything it comes with [and the packaging would have to be slick-as-all-get-out] the pricing is fair - you could even go $299.99🤘🏻

I am very curious to see what will the Halo Infinite collector’s edition will look. I am hoping that the Halo Infinite collector’s edition will have the Master Chief’s helmet, Halo Infinite prequel comic book and a Master Chief action figure.

Pretty sure Phil Spencer said on a podcast this week that due to the chip shortage, it is unlikely. He said they’d love to do them and would for special cases where it makes sense, but this shortage is really hampering normal console production. I wouldn’t hold your breath.

Scalping has been around for a very long tiem, and witha recent (say 3-5 yeah) emphansis placed on shopping online its made it much easier for scalpers to obtain items
SImply run scripts on a website to bog down traffic of legitimate users and then deploy bots to gobble up units while actiual customers are locked out
Companies/Business’ don’t care who’s buying the items as long as theya re getting bought lets be honest here
