So apparently a collector’s edition went up and sold out yesterday on Walmart’s site and I haven’t heard any other announcements on it? It certainly didn’t seem like a promotional bundle but more like an actual legendary edition of the game. Thoughts? News? Anyone know more than I do? You’d think we would’ve gotten a heads up first through a waypoint email or something, would’ve been nice to know.

I think I remember that it was confirmed that it was simply a promotional product of Walmart, nothing official.

Elden Ring’s collectors edition came with a freaking statue… this had a plasma pistol bottle cap opener.

There was no social media posts about it from the official Halo account, which leads me to believe that it wasn’t official. It was more than likely WalMart just putting stuff together. BestBuy did something similar, I believe, with the statue.

It’s full of worthless junk tbh. Nothing special and you can buy many if not all the items in it separately. NOT official legendary set, far from that. Do not pay a dime extra for it, I was laughing when I heard scalpers were buying it like no tomorrow.

It was official, it just wasn’t supposed to be released that early. You didn’t miss anything. It was just a bunch of cheap plastic junk for like $160 anyway.
I’m like 50/50. Clearly there’s a partnership if they have Dev notes. But the rest of the content is like really?
Sure the lamp is cool if it’s quality, but it doesn’t look like it.
A steel book with the game is like $80 IMO.
Lamp like $35ish
Bottle opener like $20ish
Landyards like $5-10 MAYBE
Art book like $15 since the whole book is like $35
Portfolio thing, like $5
Obviously these are estimates but I thought the price tag was a little high. I felt like $120 would have been more appropriate. But I still was very unimpressed.

Agreed, very lack-luster for a collectors edition. H3/Reach/H5 had better collectors editions IMO. So far the best thing out has been the MC series 2 controller and the actual halo console bundle series x.

I feel like “Collectors Edition” was a poor choice of words. It’s more of a bundle than anything else. In my personal opinion, this is just a bunch of random Halo items. A Collectors Edition should include something high quality that fans would be able to instantly recognize from the game. An energy sword desk light is cool but not something that should be a center piece to something like this.

A walmart exlusive bundle that contains parts from previous promotions, yeah I have seen that lamp before. Think it isn’t offical.
