I hope so too, I wish there was actually no crossplay either as I play on Xbox Series X and mixing with PC just ruins it for me. I played a ranked game of Oddball the other day and every team member on the enemy team had an energy sword where the map only spawns one at intermittent times so it was not possible at this point in the game for there to be that many energy swords in play. Obviously you can still kill enemies with energy swords but this is one hell of an advantage for their team all having that item and the range of the lunges they make when attacking too. No surprise to hear we lost that game and I was left scratching my head at how something that obvious can be just gotten away with so easily, and in ranked matches too. I guess by looking at other issues with the game though, money and the store and microtransactions are their biggest priorities before player enjoyment/customer satisfaction though so can hardly be surprised by it sadly.

A kernal level anticheat is the only real solution for cheaters on Halo Infinite.
Sadly, 343 doesn’t seem to be willing to look at implementing this in the near future.
Maybe they should make some non 343 accounts, level up to Plat (where the problem is most severe) and then see with their own eyes how rampant cheating is.
