I think it would be cool to add characters from books into gameplay such as the members of Team Saber or even Stacker who we know we’re on the UNSC Infinity when they made the emergency jump away from Cortana but it is possible they could have left Infinity before halo Infinite. Sure this is a gamble I just thought it might be cool.
I think there’s room to, certainly, but I think it’s a fine line. Team Saber have links to Blue team, but likewise have their own place in the Universe now. Stacker is obviously already in the games and I expect to see him again.
You can’t bring too much in all at once because for casual/newer fans it would be information overload, but for sure there are some who could be brought in/back as supporting cast or referenced through intel/audio logs.
If we learned anything from H5 though: make sure new characters have space to breathe though. Osiris weren’t given that - neither really were Blue team. It’s why I’m so excited about the pilot.
If jun is not in the campaign i will cry
I wonder if 343 would do any unmasked character skins in multiplayer?
Aparte del villano principal, algún otro miembro importante de los desterrados (se convirtieron en mi facción favorita), o si existe una aparición de los creados una IA humana en el cuerpo de alguna máquina Foruner

Well given the newly announced Troy Denning book, I suspect we won’t be seeing Saber in Infinite

Yea but I used them as a simple example but stacker will most likely come back

Really hope so, but that said he skipped H5 (first game apart from ODST without him IIRC) so we’ll have to see.
The books right now seem to have five main strands:
- Rion Forge and Ace of Spades and Chakas/Spark - Veta Lopis’ team and Keepers of the One Freedom - Alpha-9 - Onyx - Blue TeamStrands currently on hiatus:
- Battleborn appears to have been parked at least for now but was a thread not in the current timeline anyway. - Broken Circle’s Sphere Elites - Gray Team - Shadow of Intent and the remaining San’Shyuum - Kilo-5 personnelThe issue with mixing too much from the first group into the games is you limit what you can do with those strands in future. Rion Forge and Spark at least have strong ties to the game series already and Spark/Chakas’ ties to Zeta Halo make that connection very difficult to overlook. We’ll know more on Tuesday.
The second list is also danger zone. It can be easy to grab those characters for a bit part and to use and abuse them, but then you can ruin your ability to bring them back. The treatment of Black Team (even if just in comic form) is a good example there.
Aa long as they don’t bring back Spartans Locke, Palmer, and Miller. And if they do, they better die shameful cowardly deaths. I wouldn’t mind if the brutes BBQ’d Halsey either.
