I’m pretty sure halo infinite can be saved, but I believe the developers should take into consideration what the community wants. I’m sure many long time halo fans have great ideas to solve the Halo infinite’s lackluster game mechanics.

They need to actually be getting old content out the door for this game to be saved.

In like a year if they dont change something the playerbase is gonna dry up.

They first of all need to:

  1. fix desync and server connection issues, even allow locking regions
  2. balance the weapons or reintroduce old ones to momentarily take the place of the new (think plasma rifle to pulse carbine)
  3. fix progression, allow players to play what they want, when they want.

I wonder do they read the forums of post that don’t get a whole lot of views otherwise these ideas will almost never be heard .

Highly doubt it considering 343 does the complete opposite of what fans want.

At its core, Infinite is a fantastic game. It just needs help.

I felt the same way about MCC, and look what that’s become!

It’s too late for Halo to return to its “former glory” or whatever people wanted and hoped for. 343 has already ruined that chance, but I still think this can be turned into a really good game with some effort, for those of us that still want to play.

Its going to remain a niche game now, forever unable to captivate the “broader audience” 343i is desperately grasping to get.

The show hasn’t brought any new blood really, its just existing to disgrace this series.
The easy to use AR hasn’t captured and kept new blood, dispite lowering the skill entry barrier greatly.
The armor isn’t cool or crazy enough to keep the fortnite players.
The events make more people want to not play than actually play.
The new patches on skill jumps and slides dont lower the already (imo) low skill entry barrier, just lowers the ceiling and makes people want to play less.

They don’t understand that depth is what kept people playing apex, CSGO, and Valorant. 343 keeps removing what makes learning halo fun, and keeps veterans interested.

If something doesn’t change, this IP is gonna be dead in the water by the time all of us who even touched reach are older than 50, its surprising they expect 10 years out of this game

why cant 343 just give us pit again like they did in h4 and rename it that what the smartest thing they ever did like either listen to us or sell halo to the fans so we can do it ourselves at this point ffs

Here is what they should do:

  1. Fix all Desync and Connection Issues. There are times on the game that my guns are so untextured that they don’t function properly. And I can’t count how many times I have been kicked out of my game from lag.
  2. Remove the Core and Armor Coatings Systems. It was such a terrible idea to have these at the start. Just allow us to be free like Halo Reach. It would be so much worth it to restore how things were.
  3. Add Player Collision. Not having it is making not intended consequences. I don’t even need to start, everyone knows what I mean.
  4. Make it so you can get Prior Season and Event armor, and lower prices. Nobody with a sane mind will by overpriced and used to be free armor doing when there is one crisis after another.
