I heard that this was going to be the last game made for the next decade at east, but that 343 was going to continue to develop the game throughout the game. I was wondering if that meant just multiplayer, or if they were going to continue to add more onto the campaign and story? While I love Halo multiplayer, the campaign and story has always been the selling point for me.
Either way, I’m excited for Infinite and can not wait to play it!
The campaign is definitely receiving some sort of DLC following the release.
I think is was Bonnie Ross that said they’re going to continue Chief’s story over the 10 years planned; also, once the devs have settled in with Infinite, they’re going to make a few spinoffs during that time as well. Hoping for ODST, HW3, and a first contact game.

You should be getting major story expansion (Destiny style I presume) either annually (would be my dream) or every 2 years or so. The expansions should be equivalent to a full game (which is usually 8-10 hours). But this is all speculations.

I’m just looking at the new hires at certain affinity and damn do they have the right guys for a spin off.
And they are known to have a codev culture so all I’m saying is.
Disintegration was a solid concept and would make for one hell of a halo wars3.
Have your ai be able jump to a command post for more detailed management and then jump back into a commanding spartan or odst on the ground to lead a rainbow 6 style squad in first person. I crave it haha.

It sounds like you will have a decade worth of campaign gameplay from their ambitions.
I know this is pretty unrealistic, but I’d be super excited if we got a new campaign dlc to coincide with every multiplayer season. Not full 8-10 hour campaigns, but just 2-3 hour ones.
I feel like infinite will revolutionize FPS games again, the ten year support only provides more reasons why it can.

I hope it does. I’m hoping for a fully active Halo community when Infinite comes out!

I hope so. I would hate to have to wait 10 years for another campaign. But I think you are right, they will probably release some every year or two.
