same. It loads everything but when it gets time for the map it crashes. reinstalled it and still nothing. all drivers are all up to date and did a repair for the app. still doing the same thing.
Also having this issue. Iāve tried everythingādisabling overlays, verifying file integrity in Steam, even reinstalling the gameāto no avail. Went ahead and submitted a support ticket a few moments ago.
On a brand new machine with a Ryzen 9 5900 and an RTX 3080, having these crashes with absolutely no comment from 343 is rather infuriating.
Same problem here. i wonder how many replies before M $ sort it out

Update: after trying everything I could think of (disabling every overlay I could find, uninstalling high res textures from Steam, etc.) I was able to load into a game. The culprit wasāwait for itāmy GPU overclock.
I had increased my GPU clock speed by about 175 MHz in Alienware Command Center to boost performance, and reversing it automatically fixed the issues with Halo Infinite.
I havenāt tested any other method of overclocking the GPU yet; Iāve only tested it with ACC. Iāll continue to try other options and provide updates here to try and get the GPU overclock to play nice with Halo Infinite. But in short, the fact that a modest overclock on a very powerful graphics card can prevent a AAA title from being playable is absolutely unacceptable. 343 needs to fix this immediately.
So about a week ago this happened to me on my series X on single player campaign. It counts down 1-2-3. Then nothing. Doesnāt boot me out, just wonāt start game. Tonight
downloaded to my PC - same thing. This is not just a AAA game, itās flipping Halo on the worlds most cutting-edge system. Damn. Fix this!!!
Edit: sp apparently I am suffering from a log-in glitch. The game erased my 12+ hours of progress because of the stupid xbox nonsense with logins. Oh, this controller isnāt assigned to this profile bs. In 30 years of gaming I have only had two mainstream AAA games glitch to the point of replayability this, and the first Assassins creed. This is absurd. I will never play this game again from the start. What a waste of time. Back to the PC and pirating. This is what I get for paying for console gaming. Supposed to be easier.
Has anyone had any updates to this issue? I donāt know how to fix the issue if itās a xbox login problem. And it sounds like thereās no point in reinstalling so⦠I donāt know what to do. Iām just glad I didnāt buy it and I am just testing it out with a $1 game pass deal.
It was my RTX 3090 overclock as well. Every other game was stable since I got it a year ago, but not Halo Infinite. I wonder how many other peopleās crashing issue is due the their GPU being unstable or power supply being insufficient. Halo Infinite pushes my water loop temperature to 50 C, and the CPU temperature to 85 C. The power draw is almost as high as a synthetic benchmark.
I was having the same problem!
I fixed it by enabling the āadvanced management featuresā option by right clicking on the game in the xbox app and going into settings
The app will ask you to select a folder to transfer the game
After selecting, the game will be transferred to this folder
After the transfer completed, the option to verify and repair the game appeared
I ran it and started the game
And itās done! Working so farā¦
