Halo infinite campaign cloak is bugged

Ok, gonna make this quick and easy. The cloak you get from the thrusters in campaign, is utterly useless. There should be no reason its cost is that high with what the cloak barely does. The game says it last 4 seconds but bruh it barely lasts 2 seconds. Secondly it’s completely useless because apparently enemies can still see you when you use it. I’m not sure how you guys intended on making this work. But for what little it does, at least the cost should be like half a Spartan core. When I got this, I had imagined something more because it said it cloaks. Well what the hell, it clearly doesn’t cloak at all. All it does is make your character model transparent for half a second or 2. Apparently the enemies don’t care about it and still shoot you anyway. So, what is the point of this. Why does this cost so much when it literally doesn nothing. I timed it, it lasts 2 seconds after you actually go invisible. The game says it’s supposed to last 4 seconds. Even when I started the timer at the same time I pressed the button to activate the dodge, it barely lasted 4 seconds. Didn’t even make it past 3. So please fix this, at is absolutely useless. If you guys are gonna be lazy and not fix it. At least reduce the cost of the perk.

The cloak seems indeed the worst upgrade you can count on…

Wait, theres a cloak in campaign?

I am experimenting with using the cloak at mid to long range; If I dash and cloak to another cover area, will they detect me.
Let’s see what happens. Remember to test it for long range, too.
Or it may be meant for melee type play style, unsure.

Distance does play into a factor. At really close range they see you, much like you can see cloaked enemies at close range (sort of).

In one of the rooms with a pair of blue hunters, I backed into a corner and used the thrusters to boost from cover to cover and got to the other side. Both hunters were just shooting into the corner they had last seen me in and I had a clear shot on their backs. If I try to use it while very close to them, they track me.

I found the same to be true when shooting at midrange and long. After firing, I dash-cloaked to another covered area and enemies were shooting at that spot I was previously.
Pretty useful in certain situations.

I was severely disappointed when I used the cloak for the first time.

I boosted during a boss fight, thinking I would be undetectable for at least a ten second period… only for Master Chief to be invisible long enough to fart.
