Halo Infinite Butterfinger Token System

Link. It’s a visual diagram so I’d go look at it, better that than me explain it. According to OP it was found by Owl, and revealed by a Butterfingers H:I promo. It appears to be a challenge system where you earn tokens (I believe by buying Butterfingers bars which would randomize the amount of tokens you get) then use them to buy emblems (perhaps different kinds of emblems) or “Challenge Swaps” (bought with 5 tokens). Interesting that Infinite’s prime flow of information has changed from toy companies to snack companies.

EDIT: Changed title from challenge system to Butterfinger token system. It’s kind of hard to decipher what the diagram means but I think I’ve got the meaning of it down now. Anyways, this points out the length of Infinite’s monetization.

seems pretty legit to me. I saw a video earlier that highlighted the butterfingers promo as well (youtube content creator). I really hope that my emblem isn’t hidden behind some exclusive paywall. I would HOPE that the emblems that have always been in Halo will be available at launch. Then again 343i may design an emblem that I find more enticing than the same one I’ve been rocking for close to two decades…according to the link it shows only emblems. I would imagine that this will also include armors, textures, skins, etc. at some point if not at launch. also quite sad that we still are only getting information through these channels as opposed from the source.

Oh boy. Challenge swaps. Sounds like a challenge system is in Infinite which is good. But I do not like that challenge swaps are micro transactions.

Sounds a lot like how Gears 5 works. Don’t like a daily Chalange? The first swap is free but the rest cost in/game currency (iron) which you of course have to buy with real money.

Slightly more information here if you want it.

Ah yes, thank you for providing this. It’s a bit of a confusing diagram to look at without context.
