Ok so l just wanted to say I REALLY HOPE THE BRUTES DON’T LOOK LIKE THAT WHEN THE GAME RELEASES! It’s worse than Halo 3/Halo Reach brutes, isn’t this suppose to be the next generation 2020 Halo game? I just hope they fix that completely.
It’s one of those designs that are so bad its good, might as well keep it for the memes and because everyone thinks its funny
Thanks for your opinion.

You like the design? I wouldn’t say it’s just my opinion, it’s majority of people from the Halo community which is why I brought it up.

I do like the design yes, very much.

No hard feelings but I find that hard to believe, but if you’re being serious then that’s ok but you should at least admit they need to add some sort of face animation to make it look better. I mean we’re talking about a $500 million dollar game here.
That’s fine, I don’t mind.
They could honestly ship the game as the demo was and it look like that and I’d be more than happy to play it.
I imagine the final product will be even better so I couldn’t be more excited to play. It looks very fun and the shake up the Halo campaign desperately needed.

Why don’t you just go play Halo 3 which you already own though, or reach, or even 4 or 5. What makes you want to play this demo? I’m honestly trying to see what is so intriguing and appealing about it considering how it looks and that it will cost $60. Halo Reach to me looks better as does halo 3.

Because I have beaten all of those games (minus Halo 5) multiple times. They don’t look remotely better to me.
It will cost me nothing as I have game pass.
The new guns look very good and the grappling hook looks very fun to use. I love the idea of an open world Halo, the new mission styles of pick up and play look very appealing to me. I have far less time for gaming now and will be having kids in the very near future, so games like this are much more suitable for my current gaming needs.
Not to mention the upgrades tab is very intriguing, hopefully it makes for some really cool gameplay but we will have to wait and see.
I’ve been playing Halo since CE first came out on the original Xbox and been a Halo fanboy ever since but I can’t help but want the game to always be better especially after the colossal failure of Halo 5 campaign/MCC launch which caused a lot of backlash from the Halo community so hopefully 343 can redeem themselves with this game, but I still think the game needs a lot more polishing up before it’s considered good.
The brutes look fine to me. They look more evil without hair, even if it isn’t exactly canonical.
The brutes need more hair and teeth, how am I supposed to take this enemy seriously, I am hoping the ones in the demo we seen are just unfinished models and that’s why they looked the way they do, but on a side note I wouldnt mind having a model as one of these hairless emotionless ones in the game as an easter egg that spawns in after maybe 343,000 brutes have spawn into the game or something that would be cool
Strong push back from my end… i think although the brutes in the trailer could really use a rehaul in their apperance, I figure just giving them hair will do the trick. Comparing a couple of brutes to each other… i like the anotomy of the halo infinite brute the most from the fps titles… (that… or halo wars 2 which i like better) its just that they lack hair… seriously lacking hair.
And unfortunately i havent seen good hair simulation or textures in the demo at all… which kind of worries me. But if they can manage to give them it… ill be much happier. Also… bring that face paint to life. Its barely noticable at the moment.
I don’t understand why Craig gets all the attention. Not that it’s a good character model, but I don’t think it’s bad either. Escharum, on the other hand, is a disaster imo

Warning coming soon lol. I think they’ll make it at least a little better.

Banished have both hairy and fully shaved troops. Those that use exoskeletons normally are fully shaved, the others aren’t (or just partially). I’m more upset about the teeths and noses frankly! It’s what made them look so silly to me more than anything, lacking facial animation aside that is. And I’m saying this even though I prefer them hairy myself!
they don’t look menacing that’s for sure. The fact that there is a Craig meme means it’s guaranteed to be changed otherwise 343 will be ridiculed forever more
I think the combat however is definitely a step up in how fun it feels.
I don’t need them to look like in Halo 2 or the Anniversary Cutscenes or Wars 2, I’m going to be to busy shooting at them to really care about that anyway, so why should 343 waste resources (btw they look like Reach Brutes) ?

His name is Craig and 343 savagely beat him with an ugly stick. It takes time to make adjustments like that, time that I don’t think they have.
Prepare yourself for hairless, emotionless Brutes.
They literally look like the Brutes from Halo Wars 2, and I don’t see anyone complaining about it:
Maybe they need to be touched up to make them look better. But they are the same as HW 2. And that's what the community was asking for. Has the community changed its mind now?
