Alot of folks have been giving feedback that the XP earn-rate is very slow, and that not earning per-match XP isn’t fun or rewarding, often not giving people an incentive to win a match.
I like the weekly challenge system as-is. Specific and relatively difficult to complete challenges for additional XP on a weekly basis, offering a special cosmetic for weekly challenge completion via the Capstone.
The Daily challenges are straightforward and very simple, but offering additional XP equal to that of a Daily challenge completion for a win and 50% of that for a loss would be even better. This would offer more incentive for victories and help players feel accomplished after a match, like they know for sure their efforts went towards something.
The rate of progression for the Battlepass is slow, and i’m glad it is. I would hate to have a Battlepass I could complete in one week, since they are designed to last 3 months, and Season 1 is lasting until May 2, 2022.
Another side-note for those who are unaware, during every Season there will be special events with new mode(s), that will feature a 100% free seperate Battlepass track with exclusive cosmetics. the first one is the Fractures: Tenrai event starting next week on the 23rd
