I saw footage of the flight when they were using the body customizer thing but the changes in the body size seemed very little i hope they add more options later on and make the changes more noticeable. (maybe we could get a robot body spartan lol)
Any good idea that has enough support from the community, I’m sure we’ll see it coming to Halo Infinite over the next 10 years.

lol yep someday it will be in the game…
We need waaaaaaaaaaay more body types in Infinite, the current ones are barely even distinct from each other.
It’d take a fair amount of work to make all the armors fit the different body types but in an ideal world I’d like to see a system where you could be anything from a slim Olympia Vale style feminine Spartan to a Jorge style wall of muscle or anything in between.

I dont. Keep the androgynous looks

To keep things lore friendly, I don’t think this should be a thing. Spartan IV’s still undergo skeletal and muscular augmentation, which results in the growth of both. How it is specified that the muscles grow, simply can’t produce a “slim” spartan. The slight shape difference between male and female is fine as it is.

As far as I know every female Spartan IV we’ve seen before Infinite has looked noticeably different from their male counterparts. That’s been the case with Halo since the late Bungie days at least.
The basic androgynous body shape just ends up excluding a lot of people (there’s been more than a few complaints about it from female Halo fans both here and on Reddit) and lowers customization potential which is bad on both counts.

We’ve only had female Spartans in plain view, provided by 343. And I assume the purpose of noticeably different shapes was more of the “main character” effect, to help you identify said MC’s from the rest of troupe. Additionally, I don’t, and never have, understood why people feel “excluded”. The Spartan program in lore is highly selective based on a number of factors, including physical aptitude. It also involves an extensive list of physical augmentations to the body itself, that change how the body looks and functions in order to produce a more apt war machine.
To say you feel excluded because your specific body type isn’t represented in what is known as the pinnacle of the human body, is kind of moot. When you look at female body builders/strength builders, they tend to follow a specific body type of “big and meaty” and many feminine features are lost. I’m all for more customization, but when you sacrifice deeply ingrained lore for it, I think you start taking the path in the wrong direction.
People feel excluded because it’s a video game and they enjoy having some representation of themselves with their in-game character. It’s no different than literally any other customization feature in terms of the purpose it serves.
This is not difficult to grasp.
