So I wanted to do the right thing as soon as I seen it don’t know where else to post to make sure 343I knows, but halo infinite just went on sale on eBay and it’s being sold for 80$ + $10 shipping they are claiming it’s for the preorder of the game. I have screenshots and link just not sure if I’m aloud to post those.
eBay is a customer-to-customer online platform, if you are seeing Halo: Infinite “pre-orders” there, then those re most likely some kind of scam.
I figured that. I just wanted to report it as it is saying they have currently sold “copies” so someone out there is buying into this and kinda wanted it to be known.
Don’t post the link, I’m pretty certain it’s against the forum rules. I gave it a search and it’s definitely fishy.
They are probably buying one copy and reselling it at a higher price (or not giving it at all), you can report it with the “Report Item” link at the top of the description. This is an eBay problem not a 343 problem.

I agree, if it looks fishy or too good to be true, as in a buy now which would obviously be a con. However, there’s no law against listing pre orders on ebay that I’m aware of, although I’m a bit wary of it being up this early. Despite not selling for a year or two I’m a seasoned seller with 100 % feedback from some 700 sales. I advise the OP to look very closely at it before reporting, there are some genuinely good sellers on ebay.

I did report it. Sadly by the time I had they had sold 6 of them. I feel bad for the 6 people who fell victim of this. Hopefully E-bay will give them their money back and take down the listing. I knew it was most likely fake. I just wanted to report it on here so all of you guys and 343i was a wear of it so everyone could be safe.
