If Halo Infinite is a huge success, do you see it being added in Halo The Master Chief Collection?
I dont think so. The mcc is a collection of the older fps titles. Halo 5 and infinite will definitly stay as a stand-alone game for a long time.
H5 isn’t being added to MCC because MCC is already stretched thin enough as is on console (getting Reach added to MCC was just barely doable). Given that Infinite is to be compatible with a newer generation of console, I doubt it would be able to be added to the MCC where H5 was not.
As previously stated, the current MCC doesn’t have room for HI, but we could see a re-release of MCC on next gen a little while into HI’s life cycle…maybe.
MCC is already supporting almost a dozen game engines. Adding in another one would probably break the whole game.
I dont see as to why Infinite would be added to a game that is collection of older Halo games from previous console generation.
What would be the point of adding Infinite to the MCC? What would that even entail?
The MCC was designed to compile numerous older titles, from multiples console generations, into a single package that was playable on modern consoles.
Infinite is already being designed for both Xbox One and Series X so I don’t understand how you gain anything by “adding” it to the MCC. It’ll be on Gamepass at launch anyway.
