Halo infinite Battle Royale?

I hope they end up having a BR if not I don’t think it will make or break the game

Agreed. I think a BR suits halo perfectly.

Thread exists.
Already confirmed they weren’t doing one.

I think they could in a couple years if things start to die down popularity wise. Then again people could be tired of BRs as well as them being late to the party by then.

I just lost my remaining brain cells while reading this forum.

Br is already dead and it has proven that any dev that has added a br to their game ends up being completely forgotten in 2 weeks.

There’s already a thread for this homie. Halo has by and large missed the BR trend, let it’s gameplay stand on it’s own without further trend chasing. BR games aren’t make or break, and to make one work in Halo Infinite would be to fundamentally change the sandbox around the gamemode because of it’s emphasis on weapon tiers, large maps with long sightlines, and lack of health regeneration. All of those elements are going to fundamentally change the way Halo operates, so why go through all that work for a gamemode that is more or less on it’s way out in a few years?

Of the five shooters in the west with the most concurrent users, three of them are BRs and that doesn’t include Warzone (though Warzone isn’t actually a BR, even though it is mislabeled as one by many).

I don’t think Halo as it is now would work as a battle royale, but it’s not because the genre is “dying” and certainly not due to lack of interest. How many of these threads pop up? It’s all the time.

Oh lord, here we go.

Leave BR to forgers. You’ll have a functioning BR probably within a week of launch unless you want to Forge one yourself. Why does Halo specifically need a BR? The genre is already oversaturated. Why not play one the of dozens of BR clones that are out there? The sheer amount of resources that would be wasted making a BR mode is not worth it, especially because how many BR clones already exist. They all play the same. Just play Fortnight, or one if it’s many clones. The dead horse has been beaten long enough, BR is a dying trend.

I feel this would be a good idea if halo wasn’t well halo but I could see it

I wouldn’t want to see that, in my opinion

I personally detest BR game modes and am glad that a BR mode is not on the table at this time.

Look at COD and the impact Warzone has had on the MP. Instead of the traditional CoD MP being a priority, it’d just warzone and whatever premium content they can roll into that.

Plus BR games have a major problem with toxicity and cheating.

it really doesnt given halos weapon designs are not built with a BR in mind. The sniper for instance lacks any drop off. And before we say “well add it,” if you do, its no longer the halo sniper. I just don’t think the weapon mechanics in halo would make a fun BR.

They’ve already said they will not.

Well go make a Custom Game for it, 343 already stated its not happening

no for the 500th time

I swear. A new thread about Halo BR starts up every week…

Bud, sorry to dissapoint. But Halo will not have a Battle Royale. 343 Industries has confirmed this several times. Multiple threads on this topic exist.

Please see here to find ALL the threads on Battle Royale in Halo: Infinite.

I don’t recommend commenting on any of them. Most are too old now.

Please see here to find Jeff Grub’s comment that the only BR 343 Industries actually cares about is the Battle Rifle.

Not really. Especially with how HP works in Halo.

Hard pass. This comes up at least once a week and the majority does not want it. Leave BR’s to apex and fortnight

The only BR that belongs in Halo is Battle Rifle. Halo isn’t a game that follows trends, it’s a game that creates them.
