Hello everyone. Before you call me a heretic or something along the lines of that please read my paragraph below on how a Halo BR could work without it really looking like a BR. 1. No looting you drop with randomized weapons and can only swap them with marines around the map, you find them in weapon crates, or you kill someone and take their gun. 2. You can have three weapons; Magnum or any magnum variation as a sidearm and 2 primary weapons such as DMR and Oathsworn, or something else( Any variation of gun from Halo 5.) 3. 20 people in a lobby. Its almost like FFA just 12 more people and you drop into the match. 4. You drop into the match with ODST Drop Pods that you can steer where they go, but movement is limited in these as they are not very maneuverable. 5. You drop as a spartan with energy shielding and full armor. 6. The armor you choose before the match whatever it may be changes how you work and move. Recon makes you scout or look farther and EOD prevents decapitation from a rocket launcher or any other explosive. 7. It will be realistic. I mean you can cut off a limb with an energy sword and you can shot a spartan head off. So no small kids. 8. There is a 1% chance of your drop pod exploding mid air. So you die before you drop. Hope you like my idea.
EDIT: only solos and duos. Solos 20 people. Duos 10 squads.( 20 people)

> 1. That still is randomizing and looting.
> 2. sure
> 3. Kind of small. People enjoy BR cause of the number and the thrill of being number 1 out of that number
> 4. sure
> 5. sure
> 6. Inherent differences in player starts just dont mesh will with a BR. An armor system like this would mean you get armor metas. Its no longer about your look and purely mechanical. Armor customization should never be mechanical in Halo
> 7. Halo has never been a gory or realistic game. This not only seems unnecessary but wouldnt keep little kids away
> 8. why? thats not fun
I agree with that I guess 7& 8 can change but maybe decrease the chance to 0.001? for number 1 I meant that the only way you can loot is by killing people or swapping them with marines. Weapon crates will arrive like how they did in Halo Reach firefight.

thats still random as marines weapons would need to be somewhat random, same with whats in the boxes. Randomization is what helps give BRs some form of variation. I also dont think a chance you die before even playing is fun, regardless of how small of a chance it is. Those are my critiques though.
