The campaign map is so amazing, there is no fall damage, and having a super fun sandbox with equipment and weapons… its just too perfect. allow this mode!! on the campaign map… All the spartans dropping in, its actually the perfect setting. Halo BR would be better than bornite, apex, and war zone, guaranteed. This is the next evolution we need. People may not like it, but they don’t have to play it… Please 343, add this mode, especially since you’re free to play, I promise it will take off

No. Halo already has enough crap to fix because of the FTP model that those battle royal games made. It does not need the horrible (language toned down here due to filter) battle royal mode added to it, especially when the 24 player matchmaking for BTB doesn’t even function correctly right now.
Go play Fornite or Call of Duty, leave Halo alone.

lol look at the little babies cry because of something they don’t like being added. its pathetic… its 100% going to happen, there is 0% chance this game doesn’t have a BR mode with the campaign style map coming at some point. BR games are highly profitable and way more fun than 4v4 ranked BR on the same 3 boring maps… get a clue … go buy cat ears and leave the ones who think its a good idea ( DR DISRESPECT ) alone… if you don’t like it you don’t have to play it

With the way the single player is optimized, it would be a bit of a disaster.
Warzone BR is rough to run as it is, at this point based on the current state of the game this would not be a feasible addition.

Yeah, and some relics from Halo 5 and dropped development ideas have also been mined. Regardless of whether it’s been recorded there is no guarantee it will be used.

Oh no doubt, I wasn’t saying it’s not going to, but much like the other data mined things uncovered, it’s a long ways away.
Also just clearing things up, there was a video showing off a player respawn feature and a “kill field” that was labeled as BR, but it was actually for a gamemode called Attrition and the video clickbaited the title.

Fortnight has a current 3mil player count, Apex has 1mil, and Warzone has 296k. PUBG interestingly enough has 981k, which puts it far ahead of Warzone.
CSGO hit 890k today but regularly hits 1mil players on that note, and it’s not even a BR.
Game populations fluctuate so it’s difficult to get an accurate picture of “the most popular games” in numeric standings, but there are some titles in other genres that are a lot closer to the top than you think. Having a BR isn’t necessary to be a popular high population title.
pubG is a Br dude, and the 3 most popular games in the world via multiplayer / twitch / monetization is all BR games. Imagine thinking Fortnite wasn’t the most popular online shooter in the world. Warzone is a close second… Apex a distant third… PUBG a distant fourth. this is the world we live in… And google the link to the date mine, there’s articles on it already, its easy as typing in google.com

I don’t know why you’re all so against having a battle royale mode in Infinite.
The game’s supposed to last 10 years…
Also, have any of you actually spent much time trying battle royales like the ones in Call of Duty Mobile and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile?
They’re really quite fun, and they’re good for a break between the normal modes.

I guess I wouldn’t mind too much if it was added later in the game’s lifespan, but right now we have so many issues to fix and major needed content updates (Co-Op, Forge, more maps and modes) that I’d rather they not split up the team and slow down the core arena content at least until we have a full set of offerings.

While I’m not opposed to Halo Infinite BR mode, humor me for a second:
1.) I’d reckon most people are going to want Forge, Co-op, and other things (Infection, Griffball) way in advance compared to Halo BR, so even if your idea was supported, it would take time, something 343i has very little of I’d reckon.
2.) How would a Halo infinite BR support Halo in any way, shape, and or form? It MIGHT be a fun game mode, but Halo already has a store that seems to be doing well if cat ear sales are anything to go by, seasonal events and passes to keep the player base alive without adding what could be easily warped into a bandwagon game mode.
3.) What would Halo do that would make it a unique BR? Why should they invest time and effort into it when there are already a bunch of other entrenched BR studios out there (Some of them dedicated SOLELY to the BR game mode).
4.) What about this makes it “The next evolution we need”? There’s really no evolution here, it would just be doing what other companies have been doing AFAIK, there’s nothing that says “Halo will die without this”, why not ask Halo to do something bigger, or better, something exclusive to Halo, maybe have them invest into something like spartan ops where we can see our MP spartan be a part of a special story.
TL:DR: I’m not opposed to the idea, but we have more pressing issues, and do you have anything to suggest that would make a Halo BR worthwhile and/or unique instead of just, for the sake of having it?
