This is a forum to discuss predictions for which armors will be added to Halo Infinite over time, as well as armors we fans would like to see return in Infinite.
We already know Halo Infinite will have Gen 3 Mk VII armors (which look very cool IMO), Fractures armors (ex. Samurai), and Gen 1 Mk V armors (from Halo: Reach). It’s seems like a given that there will be more of each of these armor types added over time.
However, I think a couple other armors are also very likely to be added down the road. Namely Gen 1 Mk IV (from Halo Wars 1 & 2), and ODST (some variant there of). These are fan favorites and tie in with Infinite quite well.
Personally, I’d really like to see Gen 1 Mk VI (from Halo 2 & 3) return. If it did, I’d be rocking that (nearly) all the time.
Based on observation, I think the community would likely want Gen 1 Mk V (from Halo: CE) to return. Since it did in Halo 5, this seems pretty likely too.
The armor type least likely to return IMO is Gen 2 (from Halo 4 & 5). It would probably only return if there was a huge demand for it, which is pretty unlikely.
Would love to hear other people’s thoughts on these points, and maybe we can give 343 an idea of what we’d like added in the future of Halo Infinite.
