Making a battle royal experience would be all that great with this game. We love halo for the way it is, and yes I do think we should always have a new fresh look, and new ideas to keep the games different, but to follow the battle royal trend isn’t anything new, and what halo would provide others could do better, lets say Apex Legends, it already has a great battle royal experience that makes it fun every time you play, but with halo, I think they’d have to make a lot more weapons, with rarities, I think if they were to do it, I would like it to be another few years or a stand alone title to fully utilize the sandbox, and to make multiple types of characters where each has a unique set of abilities. I also see how they would deal with shield, being close to Apex Legends where you need a recharge battery. I would assume with spartan shields being the way they are, it would be a perfect fit. But it needs to be unique, having another clone of a BR, or Battle Royal, would mean people would lean more towards other more interesting games,
I wouldn’t be against a BR Halo, but we need it, done right.
