Halo Infinite and Breath of the Wild

Hi Spartans.
Am I the only one who thinks that Halo Infinite looked a lot like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild??
Even the keyart from E3 2019 looks like Zelda Halo Infinite 2019 wallpaper

BOTW cover

And also it looks like Halo Infinite is going to have puzzles wich is an important part of Zelda. Halo Infinite is trying to deliver a Vast sandbox game wich remind me of previous Zelda games. Both games are spiritual reboots to franchises. And also it seems forerunner’s lighthouses just look like Zelda shrine and towers.
What do you think guys?? Does Halo Infinite really feel like Breath of the Wild?

If you are expecting a “vast open world game” you are gonna be disappointed. 343 have said multiple times that it’s not going to be like the Witcher (and botw if this is so) and more like the silent cartographer level in CE, halo with open world elements.

Does this mean I’ll be able to do a BTB while playing BTB?

I don’t think it’s going to be as large as breath of the wild, but similarities are there between the two installments. I won’t be too surprised if Halo Infinite takes inspiration from BOTW, both are very sandbox driven games with great physics and far more applicable compared to something like the Witcher 3 . While I know some are weary of the mere thought of taking inspiration from other games as long Halo Infinite does it’s own thing it should be fine.

Good one!!

I do hope that we can have some fun tricks with the Grappleshot similar to BotW’s systems.

Just because the cover art for the game look similar to another game doesn’t mean it looks like the game. Character showing their back is often used (in video games and in movies) so it doesn’t mean anything.
As for the puzzles, other games have those, as either small puzzles, behing which you find small easter eggs or other optional things, or core gameplay like in the TLOZ games.
Same for the vast sandbox, having it doesn’t mean it’s like BOTW cause other games also have vast sandbox.
Forerunner’s structures exist since Halo CE, the design with light and levitating stuctures since Halo 4 and those structures have appeared in every Halo games (so way before BOTW’s shrines).
And the game isn’t open world but will feel like an open world, so not the same thing even if both will let you explore your environment.
So no it doesn’t feel like BOTW.
It’s not the same genre (action-adventure vs FPS), not the same visual style (Cell-shading vs Realistic), not the same gameplay and so on and so on.

You shouldn’t compare what can’t be compared. (and before you say “it’s not a comparison”, yes it is)
Also if I sound aggresive in this post, I’m sorry because I don’t mean to, it’s just hard to write sentences when it’s not in your native language,

Yes, English is not my native language so it’s hard to write without any mistakes.
