I recently noticed as i was looking through the list of achievements for Halo Infinite thats 343 is requiring consumers to have to purchase the battle pass in order to obtain all achievements. Thats never ever in the history of achievements on xbox happened. When you spend full price for a game all achievements can be obtained for the game so for those of us who enjoy working hard and getting them all can. If there is any additional dlc that a consumer wants to purchase then within that dlc you can get more achievements based on that dlc yet 343 is now making that impossible to get the core halo infinite achievements without spending more money to purchase the battle pass. Personally I dont play multiplayer that much I enjoy the campaign and occasionally play online with friends when I have the time. We should be able to get all halo infinite achievements for the cost of the game but if you want to try you’ll need to spend more then the full cost of the game and I dont think thats right and its completely against the consumers and fans of gaming. If this is allowed more companies will start to do the same thing and I just think that’s messed up.
Which achievement (s) required that?
The only achievement I can think of is the one that requires you to complete the Battle Pass, which is free. The premium is just for extra items. I don’t think any achievements are locked behind a paywall.
I was under the impression that the battle pass cost additional money. That it was a free to play game but if you wanted the battle pass you had to purchase it. Am I wrong?
If you want the premium version you have to pay for it, but the Battle Pass itself is free. My friend has the basic version, and while he doesn’t get the same items as I do when we rank up, he still gets some things such as visor colours and coatings for the Mark VII armour core, and challenge swaps.
Ok thanks for clearing that up.
