Halo infinite a hard pass from me

100% the aiming is awful. I can’t even so much as use a fast sensitivity on controller. All the sensitivity settings from 5 up to 10 feel the same, and 4 and under all feel the same. The entire sensitivity range is too slow for no apparent reason. Why the hell is the sensitivity limited to 10 on controller input? Do these Halo devs realize we also play games that aren’t Halo? You know games with proper fast sensitivity settings like CoD and Apex, Battlefield, RB6 seige, you name it. Even fricken Destiny has way faster controller sensitivity. The bad controller aiming has single-handedly ruined the entire game for me, and others. And we just sit here and talk about it and talk about it and talk about it and talk about it and talk about it and talk about it endlessly until nothing ever gets done and we’re totally ignored. We’ve been through this process with many other games and it’s very frustrating. Who gives a flying fk about battle pass progression or character customization when the core function of the game --the aiming itself-- is totally trash. And we’re gonna keep talking about it and talking about it and talking about it and talking about it and talking about it until a 343 person never even so much as says “hey, we hear you talking about controller aiming.” It’s always the same. Gamebreaking issues like bad aiming controls take a backseat to freaking dumb battle pass nonsense posts on Reddit? Screw this game. I’m sick of being patient. We’ve been talking about this since the flights came out months ago and 343 has done and said exactly nil. Been through this many times before at game launches, awful things never even get addressed let alone fixed, then everybody who had a concern just stops playing and the devs suddenly think everything is okay and forget that anyone ever mentioned the controller aiming is slow and unnatural. This ain’t your dad’s Halo anymore it’s -Yoink!- 2021, not 2001. Increase the controller look sensitivity cap.

yeah i guess most players will quit after the initial hype.

That’s only because the controller players have been handicapped to give mouse and keyboard players a chance.

Exactly, they instantly responded and said they’d fix the battle pass and said nothing about the two most important issues which are 1. Contoller sensitivity and 2. Overpowered AR

Yeah DBZ is awesome. I’m looking forward to Super Hero. When I said “I noticed that too” I was referring to players strafing too quickly with not enough inertia.

im mouse and keyboard man. Controllers on PC have the highest advantage. Console controller players and kbm have the short end of the stick.

DBS is cool man the only thing i would look forward to next year since this year wasnt great for me personally and halo was such a letdown. But yeah strafing is just too quick for me to track on kbm. Controller on pc was manageable.

in open you play vs any input or any team amount, play solo/duo and you have better control over this. its not perfect right now as there is only one playlist you can control but im sure there will be more in the future.

I agree with some of your criticism, but I still enjoy it and think it has a lot of potential. The game feel and weapons are a lot of fun. It needs some balancing for sure though.

But there are some systems that need to be added adn/or fixed.

Like why don’t you spawn in the same squad when your are in a fireteam?
Why don’t your earn exp based on your performance?
Why are there so few playlist?
Why is there no clear explanation for the battle pass?
Why can’t you earn a tiny amount of credits from playing?

Yeah, I doubt many if not the majority of us will ever say the game doesn’t have potential or isn’t fun. The game is solid. But the biggest issue is the lack of reward for merit in this game, as opposed to what we have in MCC, for example. As for the fireteam thing, yes. I agree.

And what if you want to play with a full team of friends instead of randoms? It will force you to do crossplay if you do that. Very silly.
