Halo Infinite 5 Campaign Questions

Why do we not have classic weapons, more skulls, different biomes, changing weather, and terminals

Most the your questions can be answered by the fact that Halo Infinite is just an unfinished game released too early. But I’ll also add onto some of these.
Classic: 343 essentially rebuilt the sandbox from scratch. They pulled classic weapons where they fit, but despite some visual hold-overs like the AR, Sniper, BR, etc, they are meant to be seen as their own thing. For example the leaked bandit rifle looks like a DMR without its scope, but will fill a different role. The look of these guns only serve as fan service, not as a literal progression like from Halo CE to 5. So beware when you ask for classic weapons to come back, they might come back in a way you won’t like.
Skulls: More is always better, and I haven’t played enough campaign yet until co-op is out, but I thought Halo Infinite had the usual set of skulls?
Different biomes: I agree, we needed more biomes, but most of it was cut. I was excited when the end shown sand, I thought we were finally getting a new area, only for credits to roll. Especially when The Road had the snow theme.
Changing weather: I’m shocked we even got changing time of day with how everything else went. So yes, necessary.
Terminals: The audio logs bascially serve as terminals. Again, probably cut for time, but terminals usually aren’t more than audio logs. The only time they were video were in the anniversary games, or Halo 4, but even the Halo 4 terminals had to be accessed in the Halo Waypoint app on 360. ODST had slide-shows, but most players kept to the audio while exploring. So the lack of video terminals seems normal to me like the skulls.

It would be nice to have all of these things, but they feel small compared to the last year’s worth of empty cut areas and lack of worthwhile collectibles.

Man I want a campaign overhaul so bad.
