I’ve created a trouble ticket, but wanted to post this up.
Fired up Halo Infinite for the single player campaign tonight. There is something seriously wrong with the 5.1 surround sound when using Dolby Digital through a home theater system. Firing the assault rifle results in the weapon sound from the left front, left rear, and right rear. No sound from center or right channels. Voices are only coming from left front channel.
This really needs to be looked at by 343. I’m very surprised this got by QC.
Halo 4(MCC), Forza 7, and Fortnite all work just fine in 5.1 surround sound, so it’s not my hardware. Anyone else having this trouble?
