My friend and I are contemplating over a concept of creating a Halo game for android operating system.
What would be your thoughts on this? Im a long time android developer/hacker and i want to go into game development and figured this would be an awesome place to start if it took fold.
It would be a FPS.

That’s awesome! My friends and I have made some games for android platform and its a lot harder than i originally thought. Would it be created in Unity? I don’t know if there will be a legal issue though with 343/Microsoft.
That was my first concern. Yes, I would use unity, altho ive never had the chance to use it yet so itl be a challenging project.
My concepts were
*build a 4 player survival (wave by wave) game “maybe 4 odst players fighting off flood or something”
*personal server driven indie multiplayer like Halo custom edition
*a side story during an existing game
My worries would be legal issues, license, and storage
Since a custom engine would be built, its not like we would be porting but as far as content and bipeds…
Not a bad idea if you can get it approved.
This seems like a really good idea, but once again the legal issues. Even though this is just a concept (no offence) but this will probably will not happen 
if so do you have any progress I would <3 to see it and I would happily give moneys to this project.
